Terms of Service
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PageSnap (the "Service"), available at https://pagesnap.dev and through our API. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The service
PageSnap captures screenshots of web pages from a URL you provide. It offers full-page, viewport, and element captures, removal of cookie banners and pop-ups, capture of pages behind a login, a web dashboard, a programmatic API, and outbound webhooks that notify a URL you configure when a capture completes. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google and are responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Keep your credentials and API keys secret. API keys are bearer credentials: anyone holding a key can use it as you, within your plan limits, so treat them like passwords and rotate or revoke them if exposed. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Plans, billing, and refunds
PageSnap offers a Free plan and paid Pro and Business plans. Current features and limits are shown on our pricing page and may change. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund within 30 days of your first paid subscription. After 30 days, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: • capture or process content you do not have the right to access, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; • capture content that is illegal, malicious, or harmful, or use the Service to distribute malware; • attempt to reach internal, private, or restricted systems, or to bypass our security or rate-limiting controls; • exceed, circumvent, or abuse plan limits, quotas, or rate limits, or place an unreasonable load on the Service; • resell, sublicense, or expose the Service or API in a way that lets third parties use it as their own without our permission; • reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access; or • use the Service to violate any applicable law or any third party's terms of service.
6. Capturing third-party websites
You are solely responsible for the URLs you capture and for ensuring you have the right to capture and use the resulting images. Captured pages may contain content owned by third parties; you are responsible for complying with their rights and terms. PageSnap is a tool that acts on your instructions and does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content you capture.
7. API and webhooks
Access to the API is included on eligible paid plans and is subject to your plan's quotas and our rate limits. We may change, deprecate, or version the API with reasonable notice. If you configure a webhook, you are responsible for securing your endpoint and for verifying the signature we include with each request. We are not responsible for data you direct us to send to a destination you control.
8. Intellectual property
You own the screenshots you generate, subject to any rights held by the owners of the captured content. We own the Service, including its software, design, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PageSnap will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for us or others. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account Settings.
12. Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible: it removes your account, screenshots, API keys, and webhook settings, and cancels any active subscription. See our Privacy Policy for details.
13. Changes to the service and terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
